I am Dr Velprashanth Venkatesan, My qualifications include MBBS (Govt Kilpauk Medical College), MD Psychiatry (CIP, Ranchi) and DM Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (PGIMER, Chandigarh). With more than 8 years of experience in Mental Health, my expertise includes developmental delays, academic and speech difficulties, childhood anxiety, trauma and stress-related disorders, sudden behaviour change in child/teens, school refusal issues and more complicated psychotic and mood disorders.
I offer both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, such as Behavioural Therapy/Modifications, CBT, DBT skills, family-focused interventions, trauma-informed care, and queer-affirmative therapy.
